"Due to the struggle in attracting funding and the loss of 2 of our major sponsors who had agreed to support us this year it is with regret that the decision has been made to cancel the event. Historically the LEGI programmes from around the region along with Business Link have been our major sponsors, but due to funding cuts being made across the region these organisations are no longer able to commit to us."

"We at the Biz Awards would like to thank everyone for their continued support you have shown over the last few years which has really helped to make the success it has become and who knows maybe in the future we will be able to resurrect the awards."
